What’s on in June and July?

  • ‘Mistakes are the Portal to Progress’

    Monday 27 June

    7.30-8.30pm UK Time

Often we might feel a host of negative feelings directly after encountering a mistake in our playing. In the vast landscape of learning, this can feel bumpy and hard to navigate for students and parents alike.

We would like to invite you to join us in giving mistakes the makeover they deserve. Make a giant mental pivot and reframe mistakes as windows for change, portals for progress, and our body’s beautiful way of rewriting what might happen next.

Mistakes are road signs pointing to what we should practice differently. They serve as a dropped pin for the map we call our score. And they open our ears to improvisation and bring us closer to our true potential.

  • Developing Right Hand Flexibility (Upper Strings Teachers)

    Monday 4 July

    7.30 - 8.30 pm UK Time

    with Rachel Cooper

This session will explore the importance of flexibility in the right hand, when we might start to develop it, how we could do this effectively as well as discussing ways to overcome common challenges.
