OUR IMPACT

In our first four years, we have worked with over 75,000 people aged 2-92, instrumentalists and non-instrumentalists alike.

Our work has reached 105 countries, every region of the UK and 41 US States.

“The Foundation is a hub of knowledge and learning. Every session has produced pages of notes and sparked many new ideas” - Student

“The Foundation’s classes have helped me to make practising a blast, and become a more mindful, creative, and stronger musician. I am so thankful for all they do!" - Lydia, age 10

Watch our Story so Far

The impact of our work is far-reaching. Let’s hear from some of our participants:

“You’ve helped make the virtual music world a really happy place for him - he’s been able to access such a variety and level of musical experiences as he would never have had in person here in Dublin. You do such a brilliant job, from the tutors teaching all sorts of fascinating things in a really fun way, to the brilliant warm-ups with the Ambassadors, to the incredible operation you clearly run behind the scenes, and you make kids and parents feel so welcome... All this in a pandemic that none of us were prepared for, and I imagine this was not the original plan when the Benedetti Foundation was set up! Words cannot express the support you’ve given to my child but thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

- Siobhan, Parent, Ireland

“The Benedetti Foundation online sessions were, without exaggeration, an absolute lifeline during the dark, dim days of lockdown! The variety of topics covered were inspirational, educational and hugely enjoyable.  The joy, passion and enthusiasm of each presenter was infectious, and I was encouraged to reflect on my approach to my own teaching methods and felt refreshed and fuelled with innovative and creative ideas to help my students.”

— Hayley, Instrumental Teacher, Northern Ireland

“As a 75-year-old with several very long gaps in my violin playing history I feel I have learnt a lot and have now gained some useful techniques to help me re-establish better playing habits. It has meant a lot to be able to take part, especially as I felt I was beginning to stagnate. I now feel inspired to pick up my violin and play.”

— Stella, Adult Learner, UK

“My experience as an Ambassador has been a big milestone for me in my musical journey. I have been incredibly inspired by the people I have met, and it is amazing how many connections the Foundation has introduced me to. Since being an Ambassador I have found my voice and path for my career as a musician, thanks to the wonderful teachers and educators I have developed relationships with.”

- Nadia, Ambassador, UK
