Scott Bryant Violin

Hailing from Ayrshire, Scotland – Scott Bryant began violin lessons in his youth at the Garnock Outreach project, before later taking lessons at the Juniors Department of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, in which he is now studying for his undergraduate degree.

He was the leader of the National Youth Symphony Orchestra of Scotland for their 2022 season and has performed with orchestras such as the British-Croatian Festival Orchestra and the BBC Proms Youth Ensemble, as well as the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra for their recent performance of Shostakovich’s 11th Symphony.  He especially enjoys performing contemporary music and collaborating with living composers, which he does frequently alongside the members of his piano trio – the Atelier Ensemble.

Scott’s journey with the Benedetti Foundation began as a participant in their inaugural 2019 Glasgow sessions, before later joining the Foundation as an Ambassador in 2021.  He is incredibly grateful for the wealth of knowledge and expertise he has been exposed to during this time, which has helped immensely in starting his own teaching career.
