Kirsty is an experienced Arts Administrator having studied Stage Management and Theatre Production at Queen Margaret University. Kirstystarted her career as a Stage Manager working for various Scottish Theatre Companies, including The Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh, Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, Tron Theatre, Glasgow, Kings Theatre, Glasgow and various touring companies. Kirsty moved into administration starting with Programme Administrator for the Tron Theatre, Co-ordinating and Producing for various small scale theatre companies and most recently as Artistic Development Co-ordinator at the National Theatre of Scotland.

Outside of work Kirsty begrudgingly helps her husband and son run their youth football team, attending her other son's clarinet concerts, reading, going to the theatre and escaping to the gym.
