Jonathan Trim Violin

Jonathan studied at Birmingham University where he conducted the University Chamber Orchestra. He has attended the conductors’ course at Canford under the tutorship of George Hurst and has conducted the Stroud Symphony Orchestra for 20 years. Jonathan has also conducted The Royal Forest of Dean Orchestra, Cheltenham Chamber Orchestra and the Cotswold String Ensemble which included some of the finest amateur string players in the county.

Jonathan has composed a number of works, several of which have been performed by the Capriol Chamber Orchestra.

He has worked with people with autism and teaches both Violin and Viola. He is much involved with young musicians, coaching students in a number of local schools and at the Five Valleys Music Centre based at Archway school.
