Naomi Pavri
Cello

Naomi Pavri won a scholarship to the RAM where she won all the cello prizes was awarded the DipRAM and LRAM. In 1995 she continued her studies at Yale on a Fulbright scholarship with Aldo Parisot and was awarded the Aldo Parisot prize for outstanding achievement. She graduated from Yale with Master of Music degree. She regular gives recitals with her pianist husband Fali Pavri and is also a member of Scottish Ensemble with whom she tours globally and records for Radio 3. She also gives music and mindfulness sessions with Scottish Ensemble in schools and Maggie’s Centres.

Naomi has performed with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and been invited to tour Germany as Principal cello with the RPO. She is a regular guest Co Principal with the BBCSSO and guest Principal with Scottish Opera. In May 2007 Naomi was awarded the distinguished Associate of the Royal Academy of Music.
