ADULT LEARNERS
Adult String Players Days are back!
Join a team of Benedetti Foundation Tutors as we explore Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings Movements 2 and 3. Please see below for a list of dates and locations.
Please note, these sessions are for Adult String Players aged 18+ only.
During the day, we will focus on expression, sound production, freedom in playing, story telling, understanding the context of the music and delving deep into specific technical challenges in upper and lower strings groups, and of course having lots of fun with this incredible community of adult string players.
You will be sent materials to help you to prepare in advance and the day will finish with a play through all together.
For our 2025 Adult String Days, they would be most suitable for players working at Intermediate and Advanced level (recommended Grade 4/5+).
Spaces are limited and registration will close roughly 1-2 weeks before the session, or when all places are filled.
Cost
For our Adult String Days, there is a participation fee of £30 (with full bursaries available).
We offer financial assistance through bursaries. All bursary requests are treated in the strictest confidence. Please tick the box on the application form if you wish a bursary - we do not require or ask for any paperwork.
We rely solely on donations to carry out our work and are very grateful to anyone who is in a position to make an additional donation towards the cost of the workshops.
Please see below for our Cancellation Policy.
