Get Creative! All Instruments (and no instrument at all!)

Saturday 10, 17 and 24 October

11-11.45am BST

Advanced Vibrato (Higher Positions & Double Stops) for Upper Strings

Monday 5 and 12 October

7-8pm BST

A two-part series focusing on developing vibrato for advanced violinists & violists. A follow on to the July vibrato session, but equally as accessible to new participants, these sessions will allow you to extend your vibrato skills in the higher positions and with double stops and to explore the different colours and textures which can be achieved for different characters. This is recommended for advanced players

A three-week project for primary aged children getting creative with percussion and song. Create your own junk percussion set, learn about pulse & rhythm, write your own song lyrics and take part in performing our unique composition written by the participants of this session. You don't need to play an instrument or have any experience in music to join in, just lots of enthusiasm, creativity and willingness to take part. For instrumentalists, you will have the opportunity to help develop your rhythm skills which will be transferable into your playing.
