LAYLA MADANAT
Layla started working for the Foundation in January 2020, alongside working at Askonas Holt and as Nicola’s personal assistant. Apart from being a keen listener of music and radio of all sorts, Layla enjoys playing the clarinet, violin, piano and singing in her free time! Layla loves sharing arts and music with young people, and previously worked as a drama teacher and children’s immersive theatre leader in Bristol for 3 years!

Other loves include running with her Black Lab Kaya in the park and on the beach, baking wacky recipes, dancing at concerts and festivals, directing theatre productions and working on her podcast all about tea, Tea-Total!

Layla graduated from LSE with a Master’s in Gender, Development and Globalisation in 2019, and from Bristol with an undergraduate in History in 2018, and is part of the 2020 Making Lemonade “Sour Lemons” cohort.
